It's a Plame Shame
This whole issue with the Plame investigation seems to be a waste of time. Don't get me wrong, if there was a crime committed by anyone, particular with anyone in the White House, I would be all in favor of this. That being said, I should probably explain that given previous administrations, I am in favor of keeping an eye on people in power.
Even with today's so called revelations, there is absolutely no case or crime committed by the Vice President. It is not illegal for him to discuss issues with someone ("Scooter" Libby {What kind of name is Scooter for a chief aide to the Vice President?}) with a security clearance equal to his own. As far as what crime Scooter may have committed (other than the goofy name) I don't have a comment on as I have been unable to keep up with political events as much as I would like.
I do have one comment on the events of the last couple of days. Karl Rove seems to have disappeared off the radar screen as a suspect for an indictment. If that holds true, the liberals are going to go crazy. Indicting Scooter (and I don't believe he has done anything wrong either) is a poor consolation prize considering they had Rove in their sights.
