Rest in Peace

22 year old Brandon Warren was found this morning laying unconscious with an empty bottle of pills next to his bed. His mother tried CPR and he was taken to the hospital only to be pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Brandon wasn't a rock star, or a celebrity of any kind. He was a kid that lived across the street from me. He came to our house on a number of occasions and was nothing less than a complete gentleman. The last time he came over, a couple of weeks ago, we spoke of his returning to school and what his possible major might be. He was one of the most polite people I have ever met. It was always "yes sir" or "no ma'm". Simply put, he was just a nice young man.

I grieve for Ron and Shirley, Brandon's parents, and I have a very heavy heart. He was a young man who had everything to look forward to, and now his parents, and those of us who knew him, can only look back on a life left unfulfilled. I can only pray that his soul was prepared to meet Jesus.

For anyone who reads this, and I know that there are only a few, please pray for Brandon's parents and family, and that Christ receives his soul.
