Look Out Joe

It took no time at all for Senator's Schumer, Reid, Kerry and Clinton to get their face time in front of the mainstream media so they could announce their support of Ned Lamont, the challenger who defeated Joe Lieberman in the Connecticut primary yesterday. Senator Lieberman barely had enough time to announce that he is going to continue his campaign as an independent, before the democrats were circling their wagons around the anti-war candidate.

Senator Lieberman has spent 30 years in public life, 18 of those in the Senate, but loyalty means nothing to the Moveon.org types who are now in charge of his party. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a good thing for the republican party for this to have happened. It gives them issues to use against this modern day democratic party. It shows that there is no place for anyone with a thought not in line with the far left. It's Michael Moore or bust.
