3 Months

That's right, 3 months...92 days until the mid-term elections. The mid-terms of 2006 should not be underestimated or overlooked. The stakes are as high as they have ever been. I have no desire to wake up after the elections to have Nancy Pelosi be the speaker of the house. The thought of having Senator Reid be Majority leader sends shivers up my spine.

It is time for all conservatives to get the vote out. The only way to prevent what I have described is by having a massive voter turnout similar to 2004. I know there are many conservatives who feel that the republican party has abandoned them, I include myself in that category. Believe me, the alternative would be much worse.

Tired as I am from my traveling schedule, I am going to do everything I can to see that republicans retain control of both houses. I am returning to blogging on a more regular basis to do my part in getting the word out. I will research the issues to make sure that there is an alternative to the "drive by media" as Rush calls them.

Once the elections are over, it will be up to all of us to keep the republicans feet to the fire. This is their last chance to get things right and to do the job we sent them there to do. If I wanted a democrat in office, I would have voted for them. Let's get this election over with, and give the president both houses of congress so that he can do his job.
