Last Rites for John Paul II

CNN is reporting that Pope John Paul II has been given last rites as his health issues continue to mount. This does not mean that death is imminent for the ailing pontiff, but it doesn't ease the fears of the millions of Catholics throughout the world who have looked to this man for over a quarter of a century for spiritual guidance.

The pope has been given last rites before when he was shot by a would be assassin, or what I would call a terrorist, back in 1981. Now would be a good time to pray for his health and his soul.
