Flowers, Flowers and More Flowers

Most of the time I find myself designing new architectural products or looking for new and better ways to manufacture them. Then comes the weekend. Mrs. Scar has a love of gardening. When we lived in Minnesota, life was simple. You planted flowers in the spring and they froze in the fall. Since we moved to Georgia I have become familiar with "the second growing season". I now find myself shoveling compost (although on Saturday the city will load your truck), and going to all the various garden centers within a 150 mile radius.

In all honesty, I have to admit that I don't mind it all that much. Our yard is gorgeous all year round, my wife wins local awards for her very hard work, and most important of all, she is very happy making it all happen. I am without doubt the luckiest man on the planet to be married to her.
