Straight from the democrats mouths

Tired of hearing about the democrats hypocrisy from me? Then you should listen to the source of all the debate on the intelligence leading up to the war right here.

Of course, I am sure that these actual video tape segments are taken totally out of context. It must be a Rovinian slip.

Get a life

I am a huge Beatles fan, also a huge Paul McCartney fan, and possibly a decent John Lennon fan. John Lennon has been dead for almost 25 years and still you see things like this that are taking away from his legacy. Dick Cavett hasn't had a show on TV in a long time, so I guess this is his way of milking his 15 minutes of fame. Personally I think that this is pathetic on his part. Let the man rest in peace. Let his wife, who continually tries to make money off of his name as well, stay out of the press (as well as CD's, Albums, 8 tracks, Cassettes, etc...). Let me be clear. John Lennon is dead. Enjoy his music. That is what he should be remembered for.

And the Beat Goes On

These days, if you listen to most of the fever swamp left, all you are hearing is how President George W. Bush lied to get us into a war that only he wanted. There are a good number of democrats that will have you believe this, from Harry Reid to John Edwards, and all the way to last years embarassment John "I voted for it before I voted against it" Kerry. They all say that the president misled them into this war.

There are two ways you can look at this. The Senate and the House get the same intelligence that the president receives, especially the intelligence committee. Either they didn't do their jobs by not reading the intelligence that was before them, and then made grandstand statements before the press to look important and pro national security only to be found to be bungling fools by getting the intelligence wrong, or they are now lying to try to sabotage this president.

The democratic party of the past must be spinning in their graves, with the exception of Robert KKK Byrd who is still breathing but hasn't been alive politically for years. To vote for war without a clue what the intelligence for going to war in the first place is, in my opinion would be criminal. To claim that a current administration lied a nation into war, while also voting for the same war with the same intelligence is hypocrisy. To say that the administration has a different, higher level of intelligence is an outright lie.

The democratic party finds itself in a difficult position. Either they go with the fever swamp left and call out to this president that he lied, take the position that they didn't have the intelligence that the president did (showing their weakness), or attempt to take the moderate approach and support the war on terror. They had better hope that if they take the moderate approach that their voting record matches. Warning to Hillary.

The weakest

president this country has ever known has reared his ugly and demented head once more in an op-ed in the LA Times. It is scary that this man is given a platform for his "America should bow to everyone else" ideals. Apparently people have forgotten that this is the same weak knee'd president who let our hostages be tortured for over 400 days in Iran. Jimmy, it's time you took a hike and leave war time (or any time) affairs of state to real men of courage and conviction. This president won't cower in the corner waiting for the next president to clean things up. On the "fiscal security" side of your argument, I don't think you really want to compare the misery index of your failed administration to that of the current one. Your day is over. The American people rightly sent you home after one failed term.

Happy Veteran's Day

To all of our past, present and future veterans, thank you for all that you have done for America and Americans. We will never be able to repay you for the sacrifices you have made, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

As an added bonus, here is the text of President Bush's speech today.
